The Story
It all started during COVID‑19.
Locked away from everyone, collecting records, falling deep into the new wave of minimal and hypnotic electronic sound. Days and nights were spent digging through European record shops online, absorbed in music while the world stood still.
Staying connected only with close friends and producers, we continued meeting in the studio whenever possible — jamming on sequencers and synths, recording live sessions and DJ sets.
At the same time, the rise of live-streamed DJ sets became a powerful way to connect with the local community and reach far beyond it.
The first 10 “MOW” events took place at “Blue Fig Bar” in Enmore.
Posters appeared in record shops across Newtown and Enmore, slowly building momentum within the underground scene.
The move to “Lazy Bones” Lounge gave the project a new push — a home for small, intimate, creative events, focused on sound, connection, and atmosphere.
